Don’t let your disillusions about life be the death of someone else’s spirit. Have the courage to face up to your own flaws rather than hide in the cowardice of undeserved venomous attacks on someone that you know will not have the heart to tell you where to get off. It may seem as if they just shrug it off because they don’t expect anything more from you, or anyone else. Truth is, while they may not have any expectations, they always hope, and each time you kick them when they’re down just because you’re down, you kill them a little more inside, until eventually the very same soul that you used as a sounding board to vent your anger and take comfort from, becomes just as bitter and vile as you are.

Think before you say something hurtful to someone that isn’t the cause of your pain. Have the courage to speak your mind to those that deserve it, not to those that don’t have the heart to hurt you back.
