But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together.

My dream is to find someone that has perfectly counter-balanced strengths and weaknesses to my own. Someone whose flaws are perfectly imperfect. Whose smile reflects in her eyes when I walk in the room, and whose cheeks flush unexpectedly when you make eye contact unexpectedly. Someone that feels comfortable enough to show their silly side around me, and indulges my silliness in return. Someone who doesn’t just let me hug her, but embraces me in return. Someone who looks in my eyes and sees me, instead of seeing everything she needs from me. Someone who will find my romanticism endearing and won’t ridicule it as juvenile, fickle or too dreamy. Someone who is willing to live a life of wonder and enchantment with me even though life weighs down more heavily each day. And most importantly, someone that has the courage to be who they are and not who society wants them to be! But I suspect I’m asking for too much…
