  • Thanks to the internet, I no longer hear voices in my head. Now I just see speech bubbles!

  • Don’t let your disillusions about life be the death of someone else’s spirit. Have the courage to face up to your own flaws rather than hide in the cowardice of undeserved venomous attacks on someone that you know will not have the heart to tell you where to get off. It may seem as if they just shrug it off because they don’t expect anything more from you, or anyone else. Truth is, while they may not have any expectations, they always hope, and each time you kick them when they’re down just because you’re down, you kill them a little more inside, until eventually the very same soul that you used as a sounding board to vent your anger and take comfort from, becomes just as bitter and vile as you are.

Think before you say something hurtful to someone that isn’t the cause of your pain. Have the courage to speak your mind to those that deserve it, not to those that don’t have the heart to hurt you back.

  • Dress your soul in modesty and wear your spirit with confidence

  • errmmmm, it could also be considered naivety…and if it goes beyond that, then it’s just foolishness, or perhaps a misdirected investment of sincerity and affection…or maybe it’s being out of touch with reality…or just a cry for help because you neeeeed someone to love you back…or maybe I’m just too damn jaded to know what it is at all. Yeah…that’s probably it. Trust the Pooh, not the jaded one.

  • And when you look back, you’ll wonder what the fuss was all about…

  • Every time a man (myself) gives way to vanity, every time he thinks and lives in order to show off, this is a betrayal. Every time, it has always been the great misfortune of wanting to show off which has lessened me in the presence of the truth. We do not need to reveal ourselves to others, but only to those we love. For then we are no longer revealing ourselves in order to seem but in order to give. There is much more strength in a man who reveals himself only when it is necessary.

I have suffered from being alone, but because I have been able to keep my secret I have overcome the suffering of loneliness. To go right to the end implies knowing how to keep one’s secret. And, today, there is no greater joy than to live alone and unknown.

  • Wouldn’t it be powerful if you fell in love with yourself so deeply that you would do just about anything if you knew it would make you happy? This is precisely how much life loves you and wants you to nurture yourself. The deeper you love yourself, the more the universe will affirm your worth. Then you can enjoy a lifelong love affair that brings you the richest fulfillment from inside out.
